Hello All!

Welcome to Los Angeles Fictional Public Library, a fake library located somewhere in the middle of a Los Angeles Neighborhood. This blog is for San Jose State University’s INFO 260A.10- Children’s Programming and Services. In this blog, I will use what I learned to create a 12-month programming for this fictional library. The programming discussed will include Storytime for children 0-12 years, Summer Reading Program, Arts and Crafts, STEM/STEAM, and a few other types of programming that would go well in this fictional library setting. There will also be a short budget outline, and how we will assess whether or not our programming was a success in the community, and how we can change for the following year.

I don’t have much experience, but a lot of enthusiasm!

Thanks for reading,

Cristina Diaz
